Darlene Cheryl Eleanor Cole

Darlene Cheryl Eleanor Cole, age 78, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Baptist Health Deaconess, Madisonville, KY. Ms. Cole was born on September 18, 1943 in Vancouver, British Columbia to the late John Haig and Ethel Lodge Haig North. She drove a school bus for over 30 years for the Hopkins County Schools and she was a beloved mother. She was of the Pentecostal Faith.



Ms. Cole is survived by two daughters, Tyna Marie Grace (Paul Timothy) and Cheryle Eleanor Cole of Dawson Springs; two sons, Robert Edward Cole, Jr. (Glenna Ray) of Nebo, KY and Bruce Wayne Cole (Elizabeth Lee) of Madisonville, KY; four grandchildren, Tabatha Nicole Bailey of Clarksville, TN, Samantha Cole Lawrence (Jamie Ray) of Sac, Iowa, Lucas Cole and Nicolas Conners both of Dawson Springs, KY; three great-grandchildren, Shycorian Bailey, Lashia Bailey and Deonate Finch.



She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Edward Cole, Sr.; sister, Jamie North Jones; daughter, Rusty Sue Conners and son-in-law, Gary Wayne Cope.



A memorial service will be held at the Browders United Methodist Church, 1898 Browders Church Rd., Madisonville, KY on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 2:00 PM.
