Cora Lee Adamson

Cora Lee Adamson age 84, of Hopkinsville, KY and formerly of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY.  Mrs. Adamson was born on March 26, 1939 to the late Charles and Ruby Wise Stewart.  She was a beloved mother and homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include one daughter ~ Kimberly Cline of Cerulean, KY; one sister ~ Dorothy Andrews of North Carolina; three grandchildren ~ Amber (George) Cavanah, Leah (Mason) Geiger and Meagan Cline; three great-grandchildren ~ Novaleigh Prewitt, Amelia Cavanah and Blaire Cavanah.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband ~ Garnett Eugene Dawson (departed 8/30/1976), her second husband ~ Espy “Pappy”Adamson (departed 1/2/2004), a daughter ~ Tammy Ann Dawson (departed 6/11/2017) and eleven brothers and sisters.

A visitation for Cora Lee Adamson will be held Friday, November 10, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY. Burial will follow at Shyflat Cemetery in Christian County, KY.
