Cherry Sue Jennings Oldham

Cherry Sue Jennings Oldham, age 90, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Baptist Health Deaconess Hospital in Madisonville, KY. Mrs. Oldham was born July 20, 1931 to the late L.V. Wright and Myrtle Jane Dockery Wright. She worked for many years as the Activities Director at New Dawson Springs Nursing Facility and was a member at Greenwood Community Church.



Mrs. Oldham is survived by two sons ~ Jeffery Morton Jennings of Dawson Springs, KY and Joseph Wright Jennings of Louisville, KY; four grandchildren ~ Scott (Autumn) Jennings, Krissy (David) Miller, Kerri Jennings and Brett Cobb; and seven great-grandchildren.



She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband ~ Morton Jennings, and her second husband ~ Ken Oldham; sisters ~ Georgia Wagner, Mary Jane Wright and Ruth Burns; brothers ~ G.A. Wright and Wendell “Finley” Wright, two infant brothers and one great-granddaughter.



Visitation for Cherry Sue Jennings Oldham will be on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour at 3:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY with Elder Jeff Winfrey officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.



Active pallbearers include: Scott Jennings, Ray Burns, Joe Roberts, Dr. James Britt, Colin McElfresh and David Miller. Nathan Britt has been named as Honorary Pallbearer.
