Bud (Arvin) John, Jr. Knight

Bud (Arvin John, Jr.) Knight went to be with his Lord at 12:30 AM, Sunday, November 18, 2018. He passed away at his home with those he loved so much beside him.

Bud was born October 12, 1947 to the late Johnny and Martha Knight of St. Charles, KY. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Elizabeth “Beth” Knight and Myra Johnson, and a great-grandson, Koleson Williams.

Bud retired from the Navy with 23 years service to his country including active duty in Vietnam and Desert Storm. He then retired from Pennyroyal Mental Health Center where he worked in addiction recovery. After retirement Bud enjoyed spending time with his family and pursued his passion for photography.

Bud is survived by his wife, Elaine Charisse. He is also survived by his daughter, Samantha Tucker and husband, David, and children, Gwyn and John Allen; daughter Jessica Bean and children, Zack and wife Summer, Kirsten and Patrick; son Taylor Richardson and children, Gauge, Jacob, Josh, Christian, Trevor, Haiden, Gunner, Addie and Colton; and two great-granddaughters, Audrey and Airabella. He is survived by two sisters, Lonnie “Lavonne” Driver and Marsha and husband, Boyd, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 PM Friday, November 23, 2018 at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs with visitation beginning at 10:30 AM Friday morning. Burial will be at McNeely Cemetery.
