Billy G. Lee

Billy G. Lee, age 86, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on November 26, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Lee was born December 14, 1932 in Dawson Springs, KY to the late Bruce Monroe Lee and Myrtle Dillingham Lee. He was a 1950 graduate of Charleston High School and a member of the Dawson Springs Baptist Temple. Mr. Lee retired as a UMWA coal miner from Colonial Mines after working as a coal miner all of his working adult life.



Mr. Lee is survived by his loving wife of sixty four years ~ Novella Jenkins Lee of Dawson Springs, KY; a daughter ~ Cynthia Brown of Dawson Springs, KY and two grand children ~ Justin Brown and Stephen Brown.



Mr. Lee is preceded in death by his parents and a sister ~ Willa Dean Lamb.



Visitation for Billy G. Lee will be Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour at 2:30 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Donnie Howton and Rev. Kellan Lamb officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.



Pallbearers include: Earl Brown, Mike Lutz, Dwight Cox, Larry Duncan, and Stephen Brown.
