Billy Boitnett Matheny

Billy Boitnett Matheny, age 75, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2008 at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, TN. Mr. Matheny was born on October 10, 1932 in Ilsley, KY to and the late Eloise Walker Matheny Alexander and William Acie Matheny. He served his country in the US Navy for 10 years and served 10 years in the Navy Reserve. Mr. Matheny was the president and owner of Wilkil Post Control in California and a member of the United Methodist Church in Dawson Springs, KY>



Survivors include his wife ~ Marilyn Matheny of Dawson Springs, KY; daughters ~ Kathy Maxine Foster of Las Vegas, NV and Ellie Matheny; sons ~ Ronald Allen Matheny of Los Angeles, CA and Billy Matheny of Madisonville, KY; sister ~ Jan Crick of Dawson Springs, KY; brother ~ John Bradley Matheny of Dawson Springs, KY and three grandchildren.



Mr. Luther was preceded in death by his parents; a son ~ Stephen Matheny and a sister ~ Maxine Allen.



Visitation for Mr. Billy Boitnett Matheny will be on Thursday, July 17, 2008 from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM and on Friday, July 18, 2008 from 8:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral hour at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. E.J. Hatton officiating. Burial will follow at Ilsley Cemetery in Hopkins County, KY.
