Benjamin Franklin Bearden

Benjamin Franklin Bearden, age 83, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023 at his residence. Mr. Bearden was born on May 23, 1940 in Maplesville, Alabama to the late Benjamin Franklin Bearden, Sr. and Lillian Payton Bearden. He was a drag line operator and manager with the coal mines and attended Mannington Baptist Church.

Mr. Bearden is survived by his wife ~ Mabel Gale Johnston Bearden of Dawson Springs, KY; four daughters ~ Tina (David) Clevenger of Madisonville, KY, Teresa (Mark) Hollis of Dawson Springs, KY, Tammy (Jimmy) Patton of Louisville, KY and Tracy (Todd) Mackey of Nortonville, KY; ten grandchildren ~ Misty, Kristen, Lindsey, Matt, Dustin, Molly, Alyssa, Meagan, Morgan and Kelsey and fifteen great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister ~ Pauline Johnston and a brother ~ Kenny Bearden.

Visitation for Mr. Benjamin Franklin Bearden will be on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 12:00 until the 2:00 P.M. memorial service time at Mannington Baptist Church, 1768 Mannington Loop, Crofton, KY with Bro. Todd Mackey and Pastor Keith Harris officiating.
