Beatrice Chola Hopper

Beatrice Chola Hopper, age 90, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. Hopper was born on January 4, 1918 in Hopkins County, KY to the late Lexie and Zele Strong Dockery. She was a graduate of Charleston High School and was a foster grandmother in the Dawson Springs School System Headstart Program.



Survivors include a four sons ~ Dale Hopper of Tuscon, AZ, Tom Hopper of Nashville, TN, Joe Hopper of Unionville, TN and Anthony Hopper of Joelton, TN; sisters ~ Norma Sue Litchfield, Gayla Hunt and Linda McKnight; brother ~ Pat Dockery; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.



Mrs. Hopper was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 54 years ~ Herman Albert Hopper; sisters ~ Aleene Hopkins, Blondie Frazier and Betty Weaver and a brother ~ Lincille Dockery.



Visitation for Mrs. Beatrice Chola Hopper will be Wednesday, June 11, 2008 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM and Thursday, June 12, 2008 from 8:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral hour at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Rev. Jackie Mathus and Rev. Gene McKnight will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Shy Flay Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.
