Barbara Anne Morgan

Barbara Anne Morgan, age 85, of Bowling Green, KY and formerly of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Greenwood Nursing and Rehab in Bowling Green, KY.  Mrs. Morgan was born on September 27, 1938 in Caldwell County, KY to the late Esther Clark King. She was a member of Dunn Missionary Baptist Church in Dawson Springs and a graduate of Charleston High School.  Mrs. Morgan retired after working many years as the school secretary at Charleston Elementary School and West Hopkins Elementary.

 
She is survived by her husband of 64 years ~ Gary Morgan of Bowling Green, KY; a daughter ~ Melissa “Missy” Cansler and her husband, Jason of Bowling Green, KY; a son ~ David Morgan and his wife, Toni of Russellville, KY; three brothers ~ Marvin Creekmur of Dawson Springs, KY, Carol (Sharon) Creekmur of Bremen, KY and John (Janet) Doroba of Dawson Springs, KY; three grandchildren ~ Allan (Ally) Morgan, Brady Cansler and Katie Marie Cansler; and one great-granddaughter ~ Adelyn Morgan.

Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her mother and a granddaughter ~ Finley Kate Cansler.

Visitation for Mrs. Barbara Anne Morgan will be Sunday, January 14, 2024 from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Bobby Sellers officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.

Pallbearers will be:  Dan Prince, Mark McGregor, Kevin Hancock, Terry McMillin, Allan Morgan and Brady Cansler.
