Anna Lou Chappell

Anna Lou Chappell, age 90, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Dawson Springs Health and Rehab in Dawson Springs, KY. Mrs. Chappell was born on January 9, 1935 in St. Charles, KY to the late Bennie Lee Cotton and Elsie Bennett Cotton. She worked for many years in the Dawson Springs Schools cafeteria and was a member of First Baptist Church in Dawson Springs, KY.

Mrs. Chappell is survived by a daughter ~ Pamela Tittle of Denver City, TX; two sons and daughters-in-law ~ Ricky Allen and Luann Chappell of Amarillo, TX, Scott and Chasidy Chappell of Dawson Springs, KY; a son ~ Benjy Chappell of Hopkinsville, KY; a sister ~ Willa Dean Barnes of Newburgh, IN; three brothers ~ Paul (Benita) Cotton of Dawson Springs, KY, Pevie (Patty) Cotton of Hanson, KY and Ronnie (Chestine) Cotton of Dawson Springs, KY; ten grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.

Preceding Mrs. Chappell in death were her parents; her beloved husband ~ Richard Chappell (departed 12/2/2015), a daughter ~ Debra Jo Chappell Chaney and a granddaughter ~ Kami Myers 

Visitation for Anna Lou Chappell will be Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM with Rev. Brian Richardson officiating. Burial will follow at Ilsley Cemetery in Hopkins County, KY. Pallbearers will be her grandsons ~ Paul Cowan, Bradley Chappell, Micah Chappell, David Chappell, Austin Chappell and Casey Cotton.
